Africa Safari South Serengeti provides cozy lodging situated in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, conveniently accessible to the crater, and positioned on the southern edge of Lake Ndutu within Serengeti National Park. The greatest of both realms! The local airstrip provides links to other significant airstrips and airports. The region is renowned for the calving period of the Great Migration, a key feature of the yearly wildebeest migration. The brief rains during November and December create nourishing grazing fields for the wildebeest, which remain in the region until the conclusion of the long rains. The majority of calves arrive in January and February. The vast grassy fields provide them a degree of protection, yet these young wildebeest draw in greedy predators like lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas. From April to November, the south-eastern plains become arid, yet the region still boasts a plentiful amount of wildlife. In reality, there are two water sources, Lake Masek and Lake Ndutu, which attract numerous wild animals to drink. The 15 lodging options (9 Safari Comfort and 6 Luxury Glamping) create two sections with a dining tent and a bar/lounge tent at the center. The traditional safari tents are completely equipped with locally crafted furniture and include an en suite bathroom.
